This policy covers FairWait (the "Service"). Contact: privacy@fairwait.uk.
In its current form, FairWait does not send your personal records to any server. Everything you enter under "My records" — appointments, costs, prescriptions, notes — is written only to your own browser's local storage on your own device. Nobody else, including us, can see it. You can export it (Settings → Export JSON) or delete it (Settings → Erase everything) at any time.
The app makes no requests to any third party. Its typefaces are self-hosted rather than loaded from Google Fonts, so no request tied to your visit — including your IP address — is ever sent to Google.
The country, cost and waiting-time information you browse is not personal data — it's the same reference content shown to every visitor.
The next stage of this project (see the roadmap on the Settings page) adds real accounts and an optional live data connection. Once that's live, this section will be replaced with the real detail; the shape will be:

Health-related entries you log are "special category data" under UK GDPR Article 9. Once accounts exist, we'll ask for your explicit, separate consent to store that category of data before any of it leaves your device.
The app does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. It uses your browser's local storage to remember your records, plan preview and theme choice on your own device — this is not shared with us and you can clear it any time via your browser settings or the app's own "Erase everything" button.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Today, since nothing personal leaves your device, you exercise all of these yourself via Export/Erase in Settings. Once accounts exist, email privacy@fairwait.uk for any request we can't yet self-serve, or contact the ICO if you're unhappy with how we've handled it.

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top and, once accounts exist, notify signed-in users.
